Dr. Jensen is a Board Certified Orthodontist proudly serving on Oahu with roots in the north shore. He moved to Hawaii in 2007 after a two-year service mission to attend Brigham Young University Hawaii with a degree in biology with a minor in studio art. He then obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Louisville in bacterial pathogenesis and molecular evolution and a Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Kentucky on a deans scholarship; and was the first student to complete a supplemental research fellowship during dental school. Having a passion for orthodontics, Dr. Jensen obtained a certificate for craniofacial biology from the University of Kentucky and went on to obtain his certification in orthodontics at the University of Florida while earning an additional Master’s degree in oral biology.

Dr. Jensen has published research on multiple topics in dentistry and has authored a textbook for medical research. As an avid reader he will always have three books in rotation but finds sitting still a challenge given his interests in cooking, surfing, running, cycling and has competed extensively in triathlon and sport fencing. Dr. Jensen is excited to be practicing orthodontics back on the North Shore where his educational journey began and looks forward to meeting you and your family.
